Rain Harvesting Workshop- Wednesday, February 10; 2 classes: 2-3:30 pm and 6:15-7:45 pm. Have you ever thought "What a waste!" when you see the rain water pouring out of your down spout and then down the street? By attending this workshop, presented by Wilma Holley, Pinellas County Extension Specialist, you will learn how save that water in a recycled plastic barrel for later use. The collected water is safe for use on your potted plants, vegetable and herb gardens, and special plant collections. All attendees will receive set-up instructions and a reference booklet. Final 'Hands Across the Sand' Meeting- Wednesday, February 10; 6:30 pm. It's really important that each beach organizer who is working with us attend or send someone from their volunteer team to attend this meeting.
