   We just made Datz Deli's Beef Short Ribs for dinner, and OOOH my GOD they are AWESOME!!!
   Better than prime rib or lobster! Thanks for the recipe!

Good Stuff

   Had the bacon dipped in choclate-wow. Upstairs bar livley with outstanding beer and wine selections. Attentive bartender with a good knoledge of offerings. Only item that seems to elude them is bread-poor crust, not very good.

Yummy Reuben

   I came and had dinner with my mom. I loved the Roger's Rockin' Reuben. I'm sure me and my mom will come back again.

Good food, poor service

   I really like the food but have had too many bad experiences with the service to be enthusiastic. I'm happy to have a neighborhood deli but when you order a roast beef sandwich to go and you get home and there's no roast beef, it's disappointing. Or, when you go to lunch and have to take your sandwich back to the office because it took an hour for your order to get to the table and your boss will be angry if you take another 30 minutes to eat, you've got to ask what the problem is. Or, how about the time that you arrive 30 minutes before closing to grab something to go and the server tells you that they've already taken the macaroni and cheese out of the case and that it's in the back and they can't get any for you? Roger Perry has a great place there (especially the upstairs bar area) but staff training needs to be more rigorous and he can't be the only one focused on customer service.

..And Don't Forget All the Activities

   On top of a huge variety of menu items, deep beer,wine and even a unique regional soft drink selection, how could you go wrong with all the foodie 'classes' and wine tastings? Great food, reasonably priced, and tremendously friendly folks who run this place. I find myself drawn back every week.

Good but....

   Datz has great ingredients for sure. Sandwiches are huge and retail products are unique. The only place I know that serves pure maple syrup with breakfast. Unfortunately, the kinks in kitchen prep and service are not worked out. My orders are rarely correct or arrive cold. Keep trying Datz!

Love Datz

   I am treated the way I like to be treated in Datz. The managament is very close to the customers making sure everyone is happy.

   What's not to love about this place other than the lack of parking. My fave? Officer's club. Unhinged my jaw - in a good way. Followed by Buckeye cake and a Ruination. Live music ads to an already great thing.

   Great food and love the decor.

   This is a place you can get a bit of everything Great Food, Great Drink and I mean a variety rare and exotic beers you can't find anywhere else and live music every day a family atmosphere young and old the food portions are enormous the deserts fabulous simply put I LOVE IT

   A Foodys haven no counterfeit here. Just amazing flavors with real food. Beyond deli and beyond gourmet at fair prices. Nothing else like it in this area. A definite hit!!!
