- Lists of Summer
There are few things in life more satisfying than throwing down an ice-cold brew on a sweltering summer afternoon or evening. And there are few things in life more disappointing than heading into a bar on a sweltering summer afternoon or evening, ordering an ice-cold brew and receiving something with the appearance and temperature of a bottled urine sample.
There are literally hundreds of watering holes in the Tampa Bay area, and it's tough to know which ones serve the coldest beer without biting the bullet and bellying up. But in the interest of saving your palate, we hit the town to come up with the numbers below, ranked from coldest to warmest. Now, there's no way to offer a comprehensive list of temps for every beer in every bar in the Bay area -- we're certainly working on it, but it'll be years. So we've tried to include a bit of everything, from beach bars to dives to mom 'n' pop corner stores to Scott Harrell's fridge to bait shops. So you might not know which bar unarguably has the coldest beer in town, but at least you'll have a heads up when you're in a certain neighborhood, or see a certain sign that starts your poor, dry mouth prepping for an icy adult beverage.
Locations that actually feature signs advertising the coldest beer in town are denoted by an asterisk.

try the koolpitcher.com beer pitcher. it lowers any beer temp to ice cold in minutes and holds constant for hours
