Fascinating. I plan on visiting many of these sites with my paranormal investigation group. Perhaps some of these murders can be solved!

there is more mafia activity today, that you would belive. its like a soprano episode.. mostly because tampa and all of florida is an open territory.. meaning, ny and northeastern guys come down to do business with no one to pay up to. Dino Trafficante, in his late 30's and Michael Cardoni, run the Trafficante family from what I hear... these guys are all in their 30's and 40's.. mostly heavy in bookmaking and vending machines.. miami has more activity, but tampa is still booming...
the hot spots that are in south tampa are, Ciccio and Tony's, Donatello's, Ybor's Carmine's, The Hyde Park Cafe, and Jacksons...

You can add the "Level Three Lounge" to the list of Tampa Mob connected places. This bar/night club was located on the edge of Britton Plaza in South Tampa during the late 1970s until the Mid 1980s. It was owned by James Donofrio-A Mob figure and was a very popular drug den where Cocaine and Quayludes could be purchased just about openly.
Even the Rock Bands that performed there almost always played the tune "Cocaine" on stage there.
Heard the place burnt down (probably arson) in the mid eighties. A drug store occupies the former location.
In it's heyday the place was popular with South Tampa locals and Airmen from Macdill AFB. I remember that the Bouncers often provided security and back up to drug dealers inside the club.

I had the honor of attending Catholic schools with several sons and daughters of these characters. There was talk, but seldom did anything rise above that. Is it Maria Trafficante living on St. Pete Beach? Or on Bristol in S. Tampa? I lived across from that compound for over 10 years and rarely saw anyone about.

Bronx Tony, you greasy porco. Why do so many Italian/Sicilian women end up with Irishmen?
It's a well known fact that goombahs never get past boyhood because they are so spoiled by their Mothers.
Ant-nee, Ant-nee!! Wherever I-ties gather you'll hear that cry from Mothers trying to control their spoiled little brats. Animals.

This "MAFIA" business is a crock. It was made up by the FBI imbeciles who could not catch a fish much less a "bad guy" The word MAFIA stems from the acronym "Make A Friend In America" no more, no less. I am from Agrigento, Sicily and know for a fact that this is all the work of the Irish Pig Cops who envy the "Maleness" of the Italians.

I am told that Daddy Frank Decidue's son is the number 2 man in charge at the Hillsborough County Sherrif's Department. Does anyone know if that is true? If so it is very interesting considering his family history.

Most people do not acknowledge the magnitude of the mob. The sad thing is that people don't realize this as part of Tampa's history.
