Minne-soo-ta has few claims to fame: a weird accent, the pseudo-electronic pop of Owl City, Mall of America and Garrison Keillor's The Prairie Home Companion are among the state's points of pride. The public radio standard is one of the few good things that came out of the '70s (the rest is all packed away in Elton John's storage unit) and this week, you can see it live onstage at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul without braving the frozen tundra that leads to Lake Wobegon. It's being broadcast live in HD to theaters around the country, and you're not just getting Keillor's trademark insights, low-key humor and witty reflections -- he's also joined by the living, breathing music encyclopedia that is Elvis Costello. 8 p.m. Tues., Feb. 9 encore, Citrus Stadium Park Mall 20, 7999 Citrus Park Town Center Mall, Tampa, $18-$20, visit fathomevents.com for full list of participating theaters. -- Franki Weddington
