EVENT DETAILS:
Between the Knees Ball Pass: Teammates race up and down the course with a kickball lodged between their knees passing off to the next team member, without the use of their hands!
Dizzy Bat Spin Relay: Players race down the course, take 4 rotations around a stationary bat, then wobble back to tag the next racer, hopefully without veering too far off track!
Team Relay Race: Participants each take a leg of the race using swim fins, a potato sack, leap frogging, water balloon carry and pop, and finish with a 2 person wheelbarrow race.
Obstacle Course: Each player takes a spot down the line for their section, including a ladder run, hurdles, hula hoop, beanbag toss, and a Rockstar energy drink chug!
Dodgeball: Start with 6 players and try to outlast the other team in our dodgeball "death-cage" (it sounds worse than it is). The last team with players left wins and goes on.
Water Cannon Target Range: 2 players (guy and girl) each take a turn against the clock on this course combining obstacles set in between stations where you must knock down targets with your water cannon.
Cornhole Challenge: No not that! Toss corn filled bean bags into a hole in a piece of plywood in a mini doubles
tournament.
Office Chair Basketball: Strap yourself into a comfy high back leather office chair and wheel around our basketball court
crumpling sheet of copy paper to try to drain baskets for points!
Flip Cup: Take the top 5 degenerates from your team and see how fast you chug energy drink and flip cup it down the
line.
Cherry Pie Hunt: How long will it take you to find the cherries in a pie tin full of whipped cream…without your hands!
Water Balloon Toss: With all the teams competing at once, 2 players from your team toss a water balloon back and forth to see if you are the last one standing before yours breaks.

Make an online donation to Special Olympics and we'll rank teams according to donated amounts award points as an events unto its own!
Go to http://www.active.com/donate/fieldday09 and make a donation. Make sure you specify your Field Day team name in order to give your team credit for the donation. Donations must be made by 8 a.m. Saturday morning to count toward your team. Please help these athletes make their dreams come true!!
Crowning the Champ! Over 30 teams will compete in the 12 Field Day events earning points in each one based on their
performance. Plus teams will earn points at the “Mystery Challenge” announced just days before the event! The top team
will be crowned the 2009 Field Day champion at the end of day celebration!! Awards will be given out to all the top teams,
event winners, and other prizes such as best dressed team, most spirit and best decorated home base.
